To be successful in this position, you will bring:
- Bachelor’s degree and four years of relevant experience or combination of education and relevant experience
- Intermediate to advanced experience in event registration and ticketing systems with the ability to quickly learn and master different point-of-sale and software systems and equipment.
- Experience in accounting, cash handling, finance, and audit procedures.
- Demonstrated superior customer service and interpersonal skills, and the ability to adapt quickly and proactively to last-minute changes/requests, and diplomatically interact with a global and growing customer base.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize own work and projects, and meet all deadlines.
- Demonstrated excellent organizational, time management, and problem pre-empting and solving skills.
- Ability to routinely and independently exercise sound judgment in decision making, aligned with the department’s mission and best practices.
- A helpful attitude when supervising staff, interacting with department staff, clients and customers.
In addition, our preferred requirements include:
- Demonstrated experience working independently and collaboratively as part of a unified team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (in particular intermediate to advanced Excel skills).
- Strong conflict-resolution and multi-tasking skills.
- Knowledge of Tessitura and/or Cvent software is a plus. Cvent software will be our event registration and ticketing platform as of this summer/fall.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS*:
- Constantly perform desk-based computer tasks.
- Frequently stand/walk, sitting, grasp lightly/fine manipulation.
- Regular use of a telephone.
- Rarely lift/carry/push/pull objects that weigh 11-20 pounds.
