To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- A bachelor’s degree and five years of relevant experience, or combination of education and relevant experience
- Demonstrated skills in managing and developing staff, including understanding of leadership development theories and training
- Advanced understanding of higher education administration and operations of the Registrar’s Office
- Advanced skills in analysis and development of complex business processes and ability to translate to solutions
- Ability to interpret and explain and ensure compliance with complex academic/university policies, procedures and external regulations
- Expert communication skills, both oral and written.
- Expert problem solving and customer service skills
- Advanced experience with office applications, including experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Box, and Google Drive
- Ability to work with computer applications and systems, business processes
- Knowledge and embodiment of diversity and inclusion best practices; ability to work collaboratively with individuals and groups from various identities, cultures, and backgrounds
In addition, preferred requirements include:
- Excellent organizational skills including an ability to: oversee a wide variety of activities and processes, define pitfalls, propose and implement effective solutions, while being able to set and re-adjust often competing priorities
- High level of energy, flexibility, and the ability to work independently
- Skills with reporting and metrics - being able to identify important/relevant Degree Progress metrics needs, outline and effectively communicate those reporting/metrics requirements to the appropriate group, and validate data. Experience with PeopleSoft Query Manager, Tableau, and OBIEE a plus
- Student development knowledge and experience in student affairs
Working Conditions:
- Able to work evenings and weekends, as needed.
