MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree with minimum of ten years of relevant experience. Proven experience in negotiating software, cloud-based software and other technology product acquisition required.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

- Ability to conduct complex vendor negotiations for software and cloud-based software acquisition to drive down costs and achieve better business terms and conditions.
- Ability to lead IT sourcing project that has a broad University level impact.
- Strong research skills, ability to conduct bench marking analysis in support of vendor selection and negotiation.
- Demonstrated creativity, problem solving, critical analysis, initiative, judgment and, decision-making skills.
- Strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to clearly and effectively present information to internal and external audiences, and all levels of management.
The expected pay range for this position is $130,000 to $160,000 per annum. Stanford University provides pay ranges representing its good faith estimate of what the university reasonably expects to pay for a position. The pay offered to a selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget availability, internal equity, geographic location and external market pay for comparable jobs.
