To be successful in this position, you will bring:
- Bachelor's degree and five years of relevant experience or combination of education and relevant experience. Experience in a quantitative discipline such as economics, finance, statistics or engineering.
- Ability to direct the work of others, for jobs requiring supervision.
- Relevant subject matter knowledge.
- Substantial experience with MS Office and analytical programs.
- Excellent writing and analytical skills.
- Ability to prioritize workload.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Excellent analytic skills associated with working on unstructured datasets.
- Ability to build, implement, and troubleshoot processes to optimize data transformation, management, data structures, and metadata.
- Graduate or undergraduate degree in information systems, informatics, statistics, computer science, data engineering/science or another quantitative field.
- Experience in social science, namely education/education policy, producing and managing large-scale, multifaceted academic research.
- Experience working in social science research, including leveraging data for policy and for producing academic research.
- Demonstrated understanding and experience using software and tools such as all g-suite, google workspace, Google Cloud, coding platforms (STATA, R, Python, etc.), GitHub, Globus, Confluence.

The expected pay range for this remote position is $113,000 to $130,000 per annum. Stanford University provides pay ranges representing its good faith estimate of what the university reasonably expects to pay for a position. The pay offered to a selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget availability, internal equity, geographic location and external market pay for comparable jobs.
