Minimum Education and Experience Required:
● High school diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
Minimum Qualifications:
● English language fluency. Demonstrated strong communication skills (both verbal and written).
● Demonstrated excellent customer service, including the ability to initiate public discourse and articulate policies in a clear and concise manner.
● Demonstrated professionalism including diplomacy, discretion, great judgement, manage confidential information and work effectively with a diverse team.
● Ability to prioritize tasks on the fly.
● Knowledge and experience with the Windows Operating System and web-based applications, including email and calendar applications.
● Ability to learn and successfully use Stanford-specific computer applications, perform data entry, word processing and web navigation.
● Demonstrated ability to learn and apply Stanford’s commitment to a respectful workplace including, but not limited to, Affirmative Action, diversity, and a workplace free of any type of harassment as it applies to their work group.
Physical Requirements:
● Constantly stand/walk, twist/bend/stoop/squat; perform desk-based computer tasks.
● Frequently use a telephone/radio, perform seated work.
● Occasionally lift/carry/push/pull objects that weigh up to ten pounds.
● Visual acuity adequate to perform job duties, including reading information from printed sources, computer screens, mobile screens and to clearly observe patron behavior at up to 30 feet.
● May be exposed to fluctuating temperatures.
● May be exposed to allergens.
Working Conditions:
● Work is part-time.
● Schedule may vary according to academic calendar or building hours.

The expected pay range for this position is $25.93 to $31.29 per hour. Stanford University provides pay ranges representing its good faith estimate of what the university reasonably expects to pay for a position. The pay offered to a selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget availability, internal equity, geographic location, and external market pay for comparable jobs.
