Qualifications

 

Education & Experience:

  • Law degree from an accredited law school. At least three years of relevant experience in investment-related matters and prior work at a nationally recognized law firm or in-house experience strongly preferred. 

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • The primary qualification for this position is significant experience and demonstrated expertise in investor-side review and negotiation of investment fund agreements.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic team environment with internal and external contacts at all levels.

  • Familiarity with regulatory and compliance issues associated with investment-related activities.

  • Excellence in academic credentials, judgment, writing, analytical, and communication skills.

  • Relationship builder with proven track record of providing the highest quality client service.

  • Highest level of professionalism and integrity.

 

Certifications and Licenses:

  • Qualified individuals will be a member of the California State Bar or able to become one promptly.

 

Physical Requirements:

  • Constantly perform desk-based computer tasks.

  • Frequently sitting. 

  • Occasionally stand/walk, use a telephone, writing by hand.

  • Rarely kneel/crawl, twist/bend/stoop/squat, sort/file paperwork.

Working Conditions:

  • Occasional work on evenings and weekends.
