EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE (REQUIRED):

  • Bachelor's degree and three years of relevant experience, or combination of education and relevant experience.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES (REQUIRED):

  • Project Management experience in both leading small projects and supporting larger initiatives.
  • Ability to productively engage and influence cross-functional teams.
  • Polished written and oral communication skills to address a wide variety of audiences.
  • Demonstrated resilience, diplomacy, influence, relationship building, and problem-solving skills in a variety of situations.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize own work and multi-task.
  • Demonstrated excellent organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative and ownership of projects.
  • Ability to routinely and independently exercise sound judgment in making decisions.
  • Demonstrated experience working independently and as part of a team.
  • Relevant subject matter knowledge.
  • Ability to direct the work of others, for jobs requiring supervision.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience with LEAN / Process Improvement methods.
  • Certification in Project Management or Human Resources.
  • Experience with human resources programs and processes.
  • Experience successfully managing program/project plans to deliver on time and within budget.
  • Experience managing programs with multiple program sponsors.
  • Demonstrated experience working with diverse cultures.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS*:

  • Constantly perform desk-based computer tasks.
  • Frequently stand/walk, sit, and grasp lightly/fine manipulation.
  • Occasionally use a telephone.
  • Rarely lift/carry/push/pull objects that weigh 11-20 pounds.

 WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Occasional evening and weekend hours. Travel up to 15% of the time.

  • Flexible Work Schedule: The position is a remote work from anywhere position, with up to 15% travel to plan and attend quarterly events. If the position is designated as remote, Stanford Medicine will pay for travel associated with required on site activities. Additionally, a one-time stipend is granted to cover the cost of setting up your remote office space.   
  • Unique Education Benefits: This position is eligible for the Tuition Grant Program (TGP) once you have completed five (5) years of continuous benefits-eligible service. The TGP helps eligible faculty, staff and retirees pay for the cost of undergraduate college education for their eligible children. The program pays all or a portion of college tuition at accredited institutions for up to four years of course work required for an undergraduate degree.
