To be successful in this role, you will bring: 

 

  • A bachelor’s degree and two years of relevant experience, or combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Knowledge and embodiment of diversity and inclusion best practices. 
  • Ability to work collaboratively with individuals and groups from various identities, cultures, and backgrounds
  • Demonstrated facilitation experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Basic analysis and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to connect and work in community with a wide range of stakeholders
  • Basic computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office Suite 
  • Relevant computer systems/technology experience
  • Understanding of financial transactions
  • Customer service skills
  • Ability to learn and understand compliance with legal, financial, and university policies and external regulations  

 

In addition, preferred requirements include: 

 

  • Experience working with college-age students or in community youth programming
  • Advanced experience in diversity & inclusion and/or social justice programming
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment and initiative in planning and problem solving under general direction from the supervisor  

 

Working Conditions: 

 

  • Hybrid work schedule requiring on-site work 2-3 days per week.
  • Able to work evenings and weekends, as needed.
  • The university requires all staff to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19, unless granted a medical or religious accommodation.
