DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Hematopoietic Disease and Bone Marrow Transplant subject matter expert. i.e. preparatory regiments, engraftment, and complications of transplant (i.e. GVHD)
- Ability to understand the nuances of how patients move through inpatient, outpatient and clinic settings.
- Basic knowledge of R language
- Ability to work with and analyze structured and unstructured data
- Intellectual curiosity and algorithmic thinking skills and good analytical skills
- Ability to consult and communicate effectively to a wide variety to specialists, such as physicians, programmers, and hospital administrators.
- Ability to solve problems
- Familiarity with the principles of database design
- Ability to navigate software and applications and teach others.
- Ability to managing accounts and files.
- Ability to create instructions, user manuals, SOPs, tables, and other tools for training
- Ability to make recommendations and decisions for improvements that can simplify or otherwise result in greater resource efficiency and better data quality.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE (REQUIRED):
- Bachelor's degree or a combination of education and relevant experience. Experience in a quantitative discipline such as economics, finance, statistics or engineering.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (REQUIRED):
- Basic knowledge and demonstrated experience using and applying analytical software, database management system software, database reporting software, database user interface and query software, and data mining software.
- Ability to collect data using a variety of methods, such as data mining and hardcopy or electronic documentation study, to improve or expand databases.
- Strong listening, verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple activities in a deadline-oriented environment; highly organized, flexible and rigorous attention to detail.
- Ability to use logic to calculate data; efficiently construct a database or scrutinize the form of a question.
- Ability to work with data of varying levels of quality and validity.
- Demonstrated ability to produce data in a clear and understandable manner meeting user requirements.
- Ability to work effectively with multiple internal and external customers.

- Constantly perform desk-based computer tasks.
