To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- A bachelor’s degree and three to five years of relevant experience, or combination of education and relevant experience.
- Ability to develop strong relationships with students, employers, and other constituents in a warm and professional manner
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to communicate information clearly and effectively to internal and external audiences
- Knowledge and embodiment of diversity and inclusion best practices. Ability to work collaboratively with individuals and groups from various identities, cultures, and backgrounds
- Advanced analysis and problem-solving skills
- Strong organizational, program planning and time management skills
- Advanced computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Drive, and Canvas
- Relevant computer systems/technology experience
- Organizational abilities—able to keep track, analyze, and report on multiple projects simultaneously
- Demonstrated passion and aptitude for cultivating connections, program development and execution, group facilitation and engagement.
- Demonstrated ability to exercise creativity, innovation, comfort with change, ambiguity, and awareness of others in a 10-week quarter system often requiring flexibility and shared work to ensure successful student engagement.
In addition, preferred requirements include:
- High level of energy, flexibility, and the ability to work independently.
- Experience in student affairs, and experience or interest in Career Education
Working Conditions:
- Able to work evenings and weekends, as needed.
- This is a hybrid position requiring 2-3 days of onsite work per week
