BEAM Assistant Director of Experiential Learning

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

• A bachelor’s degree and three to five years of relevant experience, or combination of education and relevant experience.
• Ability to develop strong relationships with students, employers, and other constituents in a warm and professional manner
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to communicate information clearly and effectively to internal and external audiences
• Knowledge and embodiment of diversity and inclusion best practices. Ability to work collaboratively with individuals and groups from various identities, cultures, and backgrounds
• Advanced analysis and problem-solving skills
• Strong organizational, program planning and time management skills
• Advanced computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Drive, and Canvas
• Relevant computer systems/technology experience
• Organizational abilities—able to keep track, analyze, and report on multiple projects simultaneously
• Demonstrated passion and aptitude for cultivating connections, program development and execution, group facilitation and engagement.
• Demonstrated ability to exercise creativity, innovation, comfort with change, ambiguity, and awareness of others in a 10-week quarter system often requiring flexibility and shared work to ensure successful student engagement.

In addition, preferred requirements include:

• High level of energy, flexibility, and the ability to work independently.
• Experience in student affairs, and experience or interest in Career Education

Working Conditions:  

• Able to work evenings and weekends, as needed.
• This is a hybrid position requiring 2-3 days of onsite work per week
