MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree and two years of relevant experience or combination of education and relevant experience required, three years’ experience preferred.
Relevant experience may include:
- Technical experience using audio recording platforms, editing software, and post-production tools.
- Experience with production techniques including compression from hi-resolution files to compressed versions for social media.
- Experience sourcing music, sound effects, stock photos and stock videos from various online libraries.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Demonstrated technical experience using digital media equipment, video creation, editing software, and/or digital media control software.
- Knowledge in production techniques including videography, compression and file delivery.
- Experience with live streaming events.
- Knowledge of camera, lighting, sound and editing.
- Understanding of online video environment and online distribution.
- Ability to adapt equipment setup and provide alternative setup or workarounds if necessary.
- Good interpersonal skills, judgment, and diplomacy required to interact effectively with and provide customer service to a broad audience.
- Ability to work independently as well as effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Effective time management skills.
Desired/Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Knowledge of Zoom and how to record Zoom meetings at the highest quality as well as how to record audio at the highest quality.
- Knowledge of Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, Garage Band, Audition, Squadcast and Photoshop.
- Basic understanding of graphic design and implementing graphics into post-production content.
- Knowledge of various video and audio editing tools as well as a willingness to learn new tools and improve final products as well as processes.
Certifications and Licenses:
- Valid California Non-commercial Driver's License.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS*:
- Constantly perform desk-based computer tasks
- Frequently stand/walk, grasp lightly/fine manipulation, grasp forcefully, and reach/work above shoulders.
- Occasionally sit, twist/bend/stoop/squat.
- Visual acuity including color vision.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a California Non-commercial Class license.

WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Occasionally work on weekends, evenings, holidays, and flexible shifts.
