In order to be successful, you will bring:

- Bachelor’s degree and five years of related experience or a combination of education and relevant experience. Master of Arts in Museum Studies, Art History, Arts Administration or a related field is preferred.
- Demonstrated commitment to promoting and supporting an environment of diversity and inclusion.
- Demonstrated knowledge of professional museum practices including registration methods, safe object handling and art preservation, packing and shipping, insurance, storage of art, security measures, and object numbering techniques.
- Professional experience working with the legal issues relating to collection accessioning practices and the rehousing of collections is strongly desired.
- The candidate should have a demonstrated working knowledge of TMS for Windows or TMS Collections database software and experience using
- SQL for generating data searches, and creating custom views, alerts and list views. Experience writing Crystal Reports is strongly desired.
- Experience with EmbARK is strongly preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Acrobat Pro.
- Must have excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
- Ability and willingness to maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail is essential, as is the ability to work well under pressure with a wide variety of museum professionals, vendors, students, docents, and others.

The expected pay range for this position is $72,000 – 82,000 per annum. Stanford University provides pay ranges representing its good faith estimate of what the university reasonably expects to pay for a position. The pay offered to a selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget availability, internal equity, geographic location and external market pay for comparable jobs.
