To be successful in this role, you will bring:

                   Advanced degree and five years of relevant experience in community engaged learning and research or combination of relevant education, training, and/or experience.

                   Demonstrated successful leadership and management experience in nonprofits, government, social/public/community service, or higher education at a high level of responsibility including: financial management and planning; staff supervision; program design, implementation, and evaluation.

                   Scholarly and professional accomplishments indicative of an ability to work as a peer with university faculty, particularly on matters of curriculum and research agenda development in a research-intensive environment.

                   Demonstrated ability to manage in a complex environment and exert leadership in programs and activities involving faculty, staff, students and community organizations.

                   Personal commitment to ethical and effective public service and community engagement in higher education.

                   Ability to develop program partnerships and funding sources.

                   Advanced oral, written, and analytical skills, exhibiting fluency in area of specialization.

                   Ability to oversee and direct staff.

                   Ability to manage budgets and develop financial plans.

About the Office of the Vice Provost for Undergraduate Education (VPUE)

The expected pay range for this position is $113,000 to $168,000 per annum. Stanford University provides pay ranges representing its good faith estimate of what the university reasonably expects to pay for a position. The pay offered to a selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget availability, internal equity, geographic location and external market pay for comparable jobs.
