To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Bachelor’s degree and three years of relevant experience or combination of education, training, and relevant experience
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to oversee and direct student staff
- Experience working in a program providing academic support to students
- Experience teaching or conducting workshops or other trainings in a postsecondary setting
- Demonstrated experience and ability to collaborate constructively with campus stakeholders, including undergraduates, graduate students, postdocs, lecturers, faculty, and staff
- Ability to work independently and in teams and to take the initiative, especially in new ventures or with ambiguous projects
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks, especially complex projects with multiple deadlines
- Basic knowledge of managing budgets and developing financial plans
- Physical requirements, including:
- Frequently grasp lightly/fine manipulation, perform desk-based computer tasks.
- Occasionally use a telephone, writing or note taking, lift/carry/push/pull objects that weigh up to 25 pounds.
- Ability to use voice or voice-assisted technology to present information/communicate with others.
- On-campus mobility, self-propelled or assisted
