Your responsibilities include:

•    Develop a wellness framework that includes resources for wellness education, support, and engagement throughout the DCI year.
•    Identify partnerships with programs on campus that can be leveraged in the design and delivery of key wellness components.  Support Fellows and   Partners in navigating wellness resources on campus and develop a curated list of wellness resources to support them.
•    Select faculty advisors and partners to support program development and serve as wellness advisors to DCI Fellows and Partners.  Interface with Wellness Specialists and seek their input on resources and new opportunities for Fellows.
•    Conduct individual meetings with Fellows and Partners to curate personalized recommendations for on- and off-campus health and wellness resources that align with their goals.  Identify appropriate assessment and evaluation tools/protocols to support Fellows in setting and achieving their wellness goals.
•    Actively seek opportunities for Fellows to engage with and support students in intergenerational learning and wellness activities.
•    Plan and oversee wellness-related resources and events, including course lists, speakers, field trips, affinity groups, and others, as identified.
•    Work with the program team to identify speakers on wellness issues to include in regular programming, such as Faculty Fellow Dialogues, Colloquia, and Community events.
•    Communicate wellness news and information to Fellows as a regular part of the DCI Updates.
•    Coordinate vendor communications and financial reimbursements for health and wellness programs, in concert with the program team and Finance & Operations Specialist.  Track expenditures and ensure wellness resources are being effectively utilized and within budget.
•    Perform periodic program evaluation via surveys and participant interviews to inform changes and improvements to the wellness program.

 To be successful in the position, you will bring:
•    Strong written and verbal communication skills.
•    Basic computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
•    Basic analysis and problem-solving skills.
•    Customer service skills.
•    Relevant computer systems/technology experience.
•    Understanding of financial transactions.
•    Ability to learn and understand compliance with legal, financial, and university policies and external regulations.

In addition, preferred requirements include:  
•    Knowledge of recreation and wellness programs delivered via various departments at Stanford.
•    Experience with wellness coaching or delivery of wellness programming.
•    Understanding of health issues of older adults and experience dealing with confidential health discussions and data.
•    Interest in longevity and lifelong well-being, including physical, emotional, and spiritual components.

Certifications and Licenses:
•    Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree and two years of relevant experience or combination of education and relevant experience.
