Requirements:

    • Bachelor's Degree or four years of relevant experience and relevant experience. 
    • At least 2 years of experience in Collegiate or NFL video office videotaping and editing games and practice footage.
    • Demonstrated technical experience using digital media equipment, video creation, editing software, and/or digital media control software.
    • Knowledge in production techniques including videography, compression and file delivery.
    • Experience with live streaming events.
    • Knowledge of camera, lighting, sound and editing
    • Understanding of online video environment and online distribution.
    • Ability to adapt equipment setup and provide alternative setup or workarounds if necessary. 
    • Good interpersonal skills, judgment, and diplomacy required to interact effectively with and provide customer service to a broad audience.
    • Ability to work independently as well as effectively in a collaborative team environment.
    • Effective time management skills.
    • Experience using a range of camcorders and PTZ cameras.
    • Experience with video analysis software such as Catapult, PFF, Hudl, or similar products.
    • Be willing to work the very long work days, especially during the football season.
    • Computer software skills using Microsoft and Adobe.
    • Must be willing to work occasional long nights and weekends throughout the year
    • Must be willing to travel for professional development purposes
    • Must be willing to work outside in all climates

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS*:

    • Constantly perform desk-based computer tasks 
    • Frequently stand/walk, grasp lightly/fine manipulation, grasp forcefully, and reach/work above shoulders. 
    • Occasionally sit, twist/bend/stoop/squat.
    • Visual acuity including color vision.
    • Ability to obtain and maintain a California Non-commercial Class license.

This position, along with all DAPER coaches and staff, is responsible for the integrity of Stanford’s intercollegiate athletics program, recreation and wellness department, and for the reputation of Stanford University. This position is responsible for ensuring that your involvement with DAPER activities maintains the integrity of the University’s reputation and does not negatively impact the relationship between the University and its faculty, staff, students, and alumni. Additionally, this position must comply with University policies and procedures, NCAA, and conference rules and regulations.

The expected pay range for this position is $66,560 to $68,000 per annum.
