MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Education & Experience:

Bachelor's degree and three to five years of relevant experience or a combination of education and relevant experience. Master’s Degree preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Strong critical and analytical skills, ability to balance tactical and strategic- thinking, problem solving, judgment, negotiating, influencing and decision- making skills. Uses data to support talent development programs. Ability to maintain confidentiality, demonstrate tact and diplomacy.
  • Self-motivated, shows initiative, works with minimal direction. Possess leading subject matter expertise on talent development practices and programs, advises and make recommendations to R&DE divisional leaders and managers, and teams that enhance organizational excellence.
  • Results-oriented. Ability to design, deliver and facilitate dynamic and innovative and engaging training workshops that optimize diverse learner group experiences.
  • Strong communication skills: oral, written, conflict management, presentation, and facilitation skills.
  • Strong program/project management and organizational skills and experience with the ability to multi-task with positive outcomes.
  • Ability to analyze, interpret and apply information and data that support talent development decision-making and results.
  • Demonstrated ability to establish strong partnerships with R&DE HR team, R&DE leaders and managers and others to deliver positive learning outcomes
  • Expertise and experience designing and implementing effective talent development solutions, including workforce planning, learning and development, performance management, and succession planning and/or career development programs.
  • Ability to influence and build confidence and trust from internal and external customers through positive relationship management, open communication, and respectful behavior.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Frequently stand/walk, sit, perform desk-based computer tasks, use a telephone, and grasp lightly/fine manipulation.
  • Occasionally twist/bend/stoop/squat, reach/work above shoulders, grasp forcefully, writing by hand, sort/file paperwork, lift/carry/push/pull objects that weigh up to 10 pounds.
  • Rarely kneel/crawl, operate foot and/or hand controls.

WORKING CONDITIONS:  This position is considered hybrid and will require partial onsite presence at the Palo Alto or Redwood Ciity campuses.
