MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree and five years of relevant experience, or a combination of education and relevant experience.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Comfort with most aspects of operating system administration especially on non-Windows operating systems, such as Linux, openBSD, VMware products, and other kinds of embedded operating systems for IoT or Industrial Control Systems (ICS) devices.
- Experience with managing an integrated computing environment.
- Experience in multiple programming languages for system development such as Bash, Python, and PowerShell.
- Experience with networked environments such as ability to use the route command, administer remote access service, query different DNS records, configure network-wide filesystem.
- Familiarity with principles of Cyber Security hygiene and practice of system hardening and monitoring.
- Ability to manage shared resources and perform moderately complex tasks. Ability to work well independently and as a team member.
- Ability to train to others in applications and operating system fundamentals.
- Familiarity with principles and practice of system configuration management using modern declarative tools such as Puppet, Ansible or Terraform.
- Experience with public cloud platforms – Amazon, Google, Azure
- Experience with open-source software
- Familiarity with principles of Cyber Security hygiene and practice of system hardening and monitoring.
Certifications and Licenses:
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS*:
- Constantly perform desk-based computer tasks, grasp lightly/fine manipulation. Frequently sitting.
- Occasionally stand/walk, twist/bend/stoop/squat, reach/work above shoulders, sort/file paperwork or parts, lift/carry/push/pull objects that weigh up to 10 pounds.
- Rarely kneel/crawl, climb (ladders, scaffolds, or other, grasp forcefully, use a telephone, writing by hand, lift/carry/push/pull objects that weigh 21>50 pounds.

WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Exposed to high voltage electricity, noise >80dB TWA, confined spaces, hot temperatures, heavy metals.
