Job Requires:
- Master's degree in social work or psychology or related field and two years post-degree experience (completed before licensure)
Licensure: California Licensure in one or more of the following fields:
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker
- Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist
- Licensed Professional Counselor
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Clinical expertise in evaluation, crisis intervention, and treatment planning support.
- Proven ability to provide culturally sensitive care to diverse constituencies and to collaborate effectively with multi-disciplinary colleagues.
- Knowledge of ethical standards, relevant state and HIPAA laws regulating the privacy and confidentiality of health information, and mandated reporting statutes.
- Demonstrated strong communication skills (verbal and written).
- Proficiency with timely completion of clinical documentation and administrative tasks
In addition, preferred requirements include:
Strong preference will be given to candidates with 3 or more years of post-licensure work history, previous experience working in college counseling centers, and one or more of the following qualifications:
- Expertise in the treatment of eating disorders (high priority need)
- Expertise with on-call/crisis response services (high priority need)
- Work or lived experience relevant to serving one or more of the following communities:
- Black/African American students
- Indigenous/Native American students
- Muslim students
Work Conditions:
- Job may require after-hours availability on evenings, nights, weekends, or holidays, in support of clinic and campus needs.
- Job requires an onsite presence as essential personnel at least 2 days/week; ratio of onsite/virtual work may be adjusted based on clinic needs and logistics.

The expected pay range for this position is $90,000 to $112,000 annually. Stanford University provides pay ranges representing its good faith estimate of what the university reasonably expects to pay for a position. The pay offered to a selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget availability, internal equity, geographic location and external market pay for comparable jobs.
