Your
primary responsibilities include:
- Analyze
financial aid data in preparation for need analysis based on GSB policies
and procedures maintaining an audit trail;
- Review
and analyze financial documents, including tax returns for accuracy,
Verification Worksheets and adjust awards accordingly utilizing GSB needs
analysis and principles;
- Evoke
professional judgement and knowledge of institutional and federal policies
when reviewing financial aid packaging;
- Manage
the GSB Nonprofit/Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program; review
applications, determine eligibility, process and disburse funding to
applicants and maintain annual database providing critical reports as
needed;
- Interpret
and communicate GSB, University, and Federal policies and procedures to
current students and applicants on financial aid availability, eligibility
requirements, application procedures, and fund disbursement;
- Counsel
students on budgeting issues and financial obligations to the University
and their lenders;
- Manage
numerous databases in compliance with federal and institutional
regulations;
- Develop
efficient office procedures to facilitate the efficient and accurate
information and application flow;
- Manage
GSB Financial Literacy series of workshop, scheduling events, coordinating
with speaker and advertising the workshops to students;
- Answering telephones,
ordering and maintaining office supplies, distributing mail, and providing
administrative support along with other tasks as assigned.

will have:
- Excellent organizational,
interpersonal, counseling, and written & verbal communication
skills.
- Extreme attention to
detail and confidentiality required.
- Be able to prioritize and
execute multiple priorities.
Self-motivated, able to learn quickly, and work as a team in a
fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Manage large volume of
materials efficiently and apply complex guidelines accurately. Demonstrated quantitative skills.
- Must be able to work in a
professional manner with a diverse group of graduate students and
officials.
- Requires an energetic
individual who can maintain a sense of humor in an ever-changing
environment.

To be successful in this position, you will bring:
- Bachelor’s degree and 3 years Financial Aid Experience or
equivalent.
- Must have solid computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft
Office suite, especially Word, Excel, email and familiarity with student
database management. Proven record of dependability, regular
attendance, and punctuality.
- Preference for 3–5 years Financial Aid experience and familiarity
with PeopleSoft student administrative system, EDExpress, and ELM preferred.
