Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree and eight years of relevant experience, or a combination of education and relevant experience. 3+ years of experience supporting Salesforce applications.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Advanced knowledge of software development lifecycle and quality control practices.
- Experience and training with project management practices, frameworks, and methodologies (Agile/Scrum/Waterfall).
- Experience with environment management, release management, code versioning, deployment methodologies, DevOps practices, and CI/CD tools.
- Experience in developing, testing, and deploying applications.
- Experience with Salesforce administration (Sales Cloud and Force.com applications).
- Experience with SFDC Administrative tasks like creating Profiles, Roles, Users, Page Layouts, Email Services, Reports, Dashboards, Tasks, and Events.
- Experience working with Salesforce platform metadata.
- Experience with database design concepts and use of SOQL, SOSL, and SQL.
- Experience with API and Web Services (REST/SOAP/Bulk).
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and programming tools.
- Ability to select, adapt, and effectively use a variety of programming methods.
- Ability to define and solve logical problems for highly technical applications.
- Ability to recognize and recommend needed changes to software development practices and procedures.
- Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical clients.
Desired Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Experience with DevOps tools such as Git, Jenkins, or Puppet.
- Experience with integration platforms and data synchronization tools (Sesame Relational Junction, Informatica, SnapLogic).
- Experience in leading, coaching, and mentoring technical teams of varying skill levels.
- Experience with Salesforce Developer Experience (DX).
- Experience with team collaboration tools such as Confluence, Jira, or Basecamp.
Certifications and Licenses
- Salesforce certification credentials a plus.
Physical Requirements
- Perform desk-based computer tasks.
- Frequently sit, grasp lightly/fine manipulation.
- Occasionally stand/walk, writing by hand.
- Rarely use a telephone, lift/carry/push/pull objects that weigh up to 10 pounds.
Working Conditions
- May work extended hours, evenings, and weekends.
