DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Educational background or work experience related to economics, health care delivery, and/or health policy.
Experience working with non-academic partners, health departments, government agencies such as the Department of Veterans Affairs.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple complex projects.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Experience managing trainees and junior staff members.
Experience with advanced, economics-oriented research methods, including possibly a master’s degree with a dissertation.
Experience with project management and the practice of agile methodology.
Experience with analytic and software programming platforms, ideally in team-based settings.
Has ability to attain Veterans Affairs WOC appointment upon starting the Stanford position.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE (REQUIRED):
Bachelor’s degree and two years of relevant experience or combination of education, training, and relevant experience. Advanced degree may be required for some programs. Program administration and or research experience may be required.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (REQUIRED):
• Demonstrated oral, written, and analytical skills, exhibiting fluency in area of specialization.
• Ability to oversee and provide basic direction to staff
