MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree and minimum 1 year of relevant experience or a combination of education and relevant experience strongly preferred including knowledge of and experience in the field of public policy.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to build lasting relationships and strong communities; customer focus.
- Knowledge of the web, technology, social platforms, current and future trends.
- Highly organized and creative.
- Ability to work independently to meet expected deadlines and schedules.
- Demonstrated team player.
Preferred/Desired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Experience managing organizational and individual social media accounts.
- An understanding of public policy research center/think tank use of social media to reach target audiences.
- Strong research and writing skills with an ability to distill complicated policy issues into short form content necessary.
- Ability to illustrate proven success with growing various social media audiences and increasing engagement.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS*:
- Constantly perform desk-based computer tasks.
- Frequently sitting.
- Occasionally stand/walk, reach/work above shoulders, grasp lightly/fine manipulation, grasp forcefully, use a telephone, sort/file paperwork or parts, lift/carry/push/pull objects that weigh up to 10 pounds.
- Rarely twist/bend/stoop/squat, kneel/crawl.

The expected pay range for this position is $81,309 to $93,494 per annum.
