DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Prior work in a lab or medical facility preferred.
  • Experience working with a small team and handle projects independently.
  • Must be responsible and able to manage their time efficiently and adhere to deadlines.
  • The ability to work in a dynamic and changing work environment where space is limited and many external distractions.
  • The ability to problem solve efficiently and independently.
  • Strong verbal and written communication Skills.
  • Must be able to conduct themselves with honestly and integrity and be able to work in an unsupervised environment.

 

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE (REQUIRED):

High school diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent and three years of relevant experience or a combination of education and relevant experience.

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (REQUIRED):

  • Strong clerical, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent computer skills.
  • Ability to exercise judgment and employ basic reasoning skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to accurately identify small letters and numbers on physical specimens.
  • Self-motivated
  • Ability to use Uber/drive to offsite locations.

 

CERTIFICATIONS & LICENSES:

None

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS*:

  • Standing/walking for long periods of time, 1-5 hours
  • Sitting in place at computer for long periods of time with extensive keyboarding/dexterity.
  • Occasionally use a telephone.
  • Writing by hand.
  • Frequently stand/walk, reach/work above shoulders, grasp lightly/fine manipulation, grasp forcefully, use a telephone, sort/file paperwork or parts, lift/carry/push/pull objects that weigh
  • Lift/push/obtain block and slides boxes from high shelving unit that may be 5ft or more in height
  • Must be able to lift boxes of 30lbs or more.
