Minimum Requirements
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of eight years of related experience, or a combination of education and relevant experience.
To be successful in this position, you will bring:
- Proven success in writing for print, web, and other platforms.
- Professional writing experience, including both long- and short-form content.
- The ability to understand complex material and synthesize across multiple sources to produce materials for diverse audiences.
- Ability to integrate ideas and information into clear, accurate, and persuasive prose; change voice and writing styles for various authors and audiences; and adapt content for different purposes and communications channels.
- Attention to detail as well as flawless copyediting and proofreading skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and able to interact effectively with a diverse array of people, including senior leaders.
- Prior experience in coordinating the roles of multiple project contributors, setting priorities and schedules, and meeting deadlines with a minimum of supervision.
- Demonstrated sound judgement in situations that require independent decision making, problem solving, and handling of confidential and sensitive materials.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and apply ingenuity and creativity in solving complex problems.
- Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS*:
- Constantly perform desk-based computer tasks.
- Frequently stand/walk, sit, grasp lightly/fine manipulation, and use a telephone, writing by hand.
- Occasionally reach/work above shoulders, grasp forcefully, and sort/file paperwork or parts, lift/carry/push/pull objects that weigh up to 10 pounds.
- Visual and auditory acuity, including color vision required.
