MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree and five years of relevant experience or a combination of education and relevant experience.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
● Demonstrated significant experience developing for web content management systems, specifically WordPress. Comprehensive understanding of best practices for building custom themes and plugins.
● Demonstrated significant experience in developing websites using open source tools, languages, libraries, and current standards-compliant code.
● Full-stack development experience with the following technologies: HTML, CSS, Sass, JavaScript, PHP and MySQL
● Demonstrated ability to write, compile, test, debug, and deploy software on UNIX-like platforms and web servers. Comfortable working with command line tools, including version control (Git), package managers and build tools.
● Knowledge of integrating and configuring web analytics services
● Ability to administer and optimize relational databases for performance and memory usage.
● Ability to integrate web services. Experience with fetching and consuming data from REST APIs.
● Ability to interact positively with and build consensus among a diverse group of colleagues, clients, and senior leadership.
● Ability to understand and manage the greater web environment.
● Ability to extend and maintain complex web enterprise systems.
● Familiarity with browser, device, and platform differences and idiosyncrasies, and ability to develop workarounds/fallbacks that maintain a good user experience.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS*:

● Constantly perform desk-based computer tasks, grasp lightly/fine manipulation.
● Frequently sitting.
● Occasionally stand/walk, use a telephone.
● Rarely write by hand, lift/carry/push/pull objects that weigh up to 10 pounds.
● Strong visual acuity.
