Minimum Education & Experience Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree and eight years of relevant experience, or combination of education and relevant experience.
Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required
- Excellent oral, written, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Highly-developed interviewing skills.
- Proven experience as a Technical Talent Acquisition Specialist or similar role, preferably in a technology-driven organization.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of technical roles, skills, and technologies.
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills to secure top technical talent.
- In-depth knowledge of state and federal employment laws applicable to the hiring of employees, including affirmative action and equal employment opportunity requirements.
- In-depth experience with web-based systems and recruiting sources, including the internet, social media, warm/cold calling, referrals, events, networking, publications, industry groups/associations, and job fairs.
- Proficiency with applicant tracking systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
Physical Requirements
- Constantly perform desk-based computer tasks.
- Frequently sit, use a telephone.
- Occasionally stand/walk, grasp lightly/fine manipulation, lift/carry/push/pull objects that weigh 11-20 pounds.
- Rarely writing by hand, sort/file paperwork or parts.
Working Conditions
- Occasional travel.
- Flexible work hours including weekends and evenings.

The expected pay range for this position is $112,000 to $173,000 per annum. Stanford University provides pay ranges representing its good faith estimate of what the university reasonably expects to pay for a position. The pay offered to a selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget availability, internal equity, geographic location and external market pay for comparable jobs.
