Requirements: Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer science engineering or related field and five years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience as a computer programmer, systems administrator, or related occupation in systems administration.
Must possess five years of experience in:
● VMware virtualization technology, VMware Horizon View, vSphere infrastructure.
● Installing, configuring, and maintaining a stable physical and virtualized environment of medium to high scale number of systems.
● Complex multi-system platforms and vendors.
● Coordinating multi-system and computing environments in independent computing facilities.
● Developing/implementing a business continuation and disaster recovery plan.
● Program in multiple programming languages in multiple operating systems.
Also requires knowledge in each of the following:
● VMware VDI Technologies including Horizon View.
● VMware ESX Technology.
● Windows server technology.
● Microsoft Active Directory, BigFix, Microsoft SCCM and PowerShell.
The expected pay range for this position is $148,162 to $171,100 per annum. Stanford University provides pay ranges representing its good faith estimate of what the university reasonably expects to pay for a position. The pay offered to a selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the qualifications of the selected candidate,
departmental budget availability, internal equity, geographic location and external market pay for comparable jobs.
Location of Position: 505 Broadway, Redwood City, CA 94063. May telecommute within area of intended employment at employer’s discretion and be available for in office meetings as needed.
