MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in a related field and five years of related experience in the management of projects with extensive size/complexity and moderate performance risk, including project planning, scheduling, tracking, and budgeting, or a combination of education and relevant experience.

- Highly effective written and oral communication skills to address a wide variety of audiences.
- Ability to productively assemble, engage, and lead cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrated project management ability to employ integration, scope time management, cost, quality, human resources, communications, risk, and procurement components.
- Ability to balance customer expectations with project reality.
- Demonstrated resilience, diplomacy, influence, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills in a variety of situations.
- Keen grasp of interpersonal and impact awareness.
- Depth of knowledge in technical discipline/domain needed to deliver projects.
- Oversees architects, engineers, and general contractors to ensure a high level of quality and safety.
- Creates and reviews Requests for Qualifications and Proposals.
- Guarantees that all work is performed in accordance with approved manuals and procedures.
- Ensures that the project is constructed and documented in accordance with the contract documents and Stanford standards.
- Reviews design team additional service requests and contractor change orders and leads negotiations.
- Reviews weekly reports on the status and progress of the contracts.
- Reports the status of projects to the senior director.
- Facilitates the weekly construction meetings with the architects, contractors, and stakeholders.
- Determines the phasing of projects.
- Ability to be the owner’s representative for complex projects.
- Develops cost estimates for budgeting and change order reviews.
- Is able to review construction documents and provide constructability reviews.
- Develop comprehensive field notes.
- Is proficient in Microsoft Project, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Procore, and Bluebeam software.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS*:
- Frequently stand/walk, sit, perform desk-based computer tasks, and lift/carry/push/pull objects that weigh up to 10 pounds.
- Occasionally use a telephone, write by hand, twist/bend/stoop/squat, grasp lightly/fine manipulation, and lift/carry/push/pull objects that weigh up to 20 pounds.
- Rarely kneel, crawl, climb ladders, reach/work above shoulder, grasp forcefully, carry, push, and pull objects that weigh up to 40 pounds or more.
- Ability to maintain a valid non-commercial California Driver's license.
- Auditory acuity with the ability to hear horns and bells.
- Visual acuity with the ability to determine colors for finishes.
- Ability to climb scaffolding, ladders, stairs, etc.

WORKING CONDITIONS:
- May work in active laboratories or outdoor environments.
- May be exposed to extreme hot and cold temperatures, be exposed to high voltage electricity, radiation or electromagnetic fields, lasers, noise > 80dB TWA, allergens/biohazards/chemicals /asbestos, or heavy metals or work on roofs at heights greater than 10 ft.
- May drive vehicle day and night.
- Must wear personal protective equipment as defined/required by job assignments, and dress for clean rooms.
- May work extended hours, evenings, and weekends.

The expected pay range for this position is 156k-160k
