MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Education & Experience:
- J.D., CPA, MBA, Masters in Tax, or similar degree and five years of relevant professional experience or combination of education and relevant experience.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Expertise preparing or reviewing tax returns applicable to an entity’s global presence, including but not limited to, Forms 5471, 8858, 5713, knowledge and experience of US tax treaties, OECD transfer pricing and reporting principles (including country-by-country reporting, master file development and maintenance, local file) VAT, GST, FATCA, etc.
- Strong substantive tax knowledge and tax research skills in global taxation environment. Knowledge of exempt organization law desired.
- Demonstrated ability to educate groups of tax and non-tax professionals.
- Ability to analyze and synthesize complex data; high attention to detail.
- Demonstrated project management skills and ability to contribute/lead as part of a multi-functional team.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including the ability to clearly and effectively communicate information to internal and external audiences and client groups.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft applications, such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Certifications and Licenses:
- Licensed attorney, CPA, or Enrolled Agent.
This role is open to candidates anywhere in the United States. Stanford University has five Regional Pay Structures. The compensation for this position will be based on the location of the successful candidate.
The expected pay range for this position is $121,000 to $152,000 per annum.
