To be successful in this role, you will bring:
Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree and seven years of relevant experience or combination of education and relevant experience. Experience in a quantitative discipline such as computer science, accounting, operations, finance, statistics or engineering.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Experience leading large web or digital application projects with complex stakeholder landscapes and governance structures to successful outcomes, on time and on budget.
- Track record of synthesizing many opinions and inputs into a clear product strategy, set of goals and deliverables--and then communicating the plan back to stakeholders in a succinct way. Requiring skill in conducting interviews and facilitating group meetings.
- Experience seeking opportunities to innovate, simplify and create intuitive user interfaces that improve user experience and increase adoption.
- An eye for detail in user experience and visual design, leveraging best practices and existing design systems. Experience partnering with senior design staff.
- Current knowledge of rapidly changing web and web application technologies.
- Experience with enterprise applications and understanding of database-driven applications, and strong understanding of the software development life cycle.
- Proven problem solving, analytical thinking and ability to approach problems logically and systematically.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, including the ability to bridge functional and technical resources by communicating effectively with individuals of varying systems expertise and business needs.
- Strong listening, negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
- Demonstrated experience engaging and motivating groups of diverse individuals.
In addition, preferred requirements include:
- Experience evaluating and revising strategies based on KPIs that leverage analytics, qualitative and quantitative user research.
- Project management skills.
- Basic front-end development skills, allowing you to stand up simple API-driven prototypes.
- Experiencing partnering with agencies and vendors.
Physical Requirements*:
- Sitting in place at computer for long periods of time with extensive keyboarding/dexterity; occasionally use a telephone; rarely writing by hand.
