Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required

Bachelor’s degree and five years related experience, or a combination of education and relevant experience.
Demonstrated excellent surveillance and emergency response skills.
Proven ability to communicate persuasively and effectively with a diverse group of employees, coworkers, and peoples on all levels of an organization, using tact and discretion.
Strong sense and understanding of customer service, able to provide a high standard of communication and problem-solving skills, and a high level of visitor care.
Demonstrated success in the development and implementation of an effective security program; proven track record in team leadership, staff supervision, and budget management.
Excellent interpersonal skills, with high leadership skills. Ability to delegate appropriately in order to deliver effective results on the ground, providing high level of support and guidance.
Ability to pan short-and long-term activities including work scheduling, quality assurance, program assessment and validation, and supervision of personnel.
Extremely well organized, detail oriented.
Experienced in identifying and resolving security issues.
Ability to use sound judgment and independence in determining priorities.
Ability to handle stressful situation in a calm and professional manner.
Flexibility and calmness in managing a large work volume with minimal supervision under tight deadlines and sometime in pressure situation.
Proficient in computer software applications to manage and schedule staff, forecast budgets, prepare reports.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS*:

Frequently stand/walk, seated, performs desk-based computer tasks.
Occasionally climb, twist/bend/stoop/squat, reach/work above shoulders, grasp lightly/fine manipulation, use a telephone, writing by hand, lift/carry/push/pull objects that weigh up to 20 pounds.
Rarely kneel/crawl, grasp forcefully, sort/file paperwork or parts, lift/carry/push/pull objects that weight > 40 pounds.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Requires 24-hour response availability, seven days a week for emergency situations.
May be exposed to noise > 80dB TWA.
