Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required

  • Bachelor’s degree and five years related experience, or a combination of education and relevant experience.

  • Demonstrated excellent surveillance and emergency response skills.

  • Proven ability to communicate persuasively and effectively with a diverse group of employees, coworkers, and peoples on all levels of an organization, using tact and discretion. 

  • Strong sense and understanding of customer service, able to provide a high standard of communication and problem-solving skills, and a high level of visitor care.

  • Demonstrated success in the development and implementation of an effective security program; proven track record in team leadership, staff supervision, and budget management.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with high leadership skills. Ability to delegate appropriately in order to deliver effective results on the ground, providing high level of support and guidance.

  • Ability to pan short-and long-term activities including work scheduling, quality assurance, program assessment and validation, and supervision of personnel.

  • Extremely well organized, detail oriented.

  • Experienced in identifying and resolving security issues.

  • Ability to use sound judgment and independence in determining priorities.

  • Ability to handle stressful situation in a calm and professional manner.

  • Flexibility and calmness in managing a large work volume with minimal supervision under tight deadlines and sometime in pressure situation.

  • Proficient in computer software applications to manage and schedule staff, forecast budgets, prepare reports.

  • None

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS*:

  • Frequently stand/walk, seated, performs desk-based computer tasks.

  • Occasionally climb, twist/bend/stoop/squat, reach/work above shoulders, grasp lightly/fine manipulation, use a telephone, writing by hand, lift/carry/push/pull objects that weigh up to 20 pounds.

  • Rarely kneel/crawl, grasp forcefully, sort/file paperwork or parts, lift/carry/push/pull objects that weight > 40 pounds.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Requires 24-hour response availability, seven days a week for emergency situations.

  • May be exposed to noise > 80dB TWA.
