To be successful in this position, you will need:
- Bachelor’s degree and eight years of relevant experience, or combination of education and relevant experience. Experience in a higher education setting is preferred.
- User knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Advanced communication skills to clearly and effectively communicate information to internal and external audiences, client groups, and all levels of management.
- Strong analytical skills to review and analyze complex financial information.
- Strong leadership and strategic management skills.
- Demonstrated experience managing people.
- Understanding of underlying technological needs and requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively.
In addition, our preferred qualifications include:
- Master’s degree and a minimum of 10 years of combined academic career services and/or corporate recruitment management experience.
- Effective organizational and management skills.
- Experience in collaborative work, including across units and expertise areas.
- Experience managing staff and budgets, and experience managing organizational change.
- Experience with data analytics and program assessment.
- Knowledge and understanding of best practices in university career services, student career and professional development, and career opportunities for students in diverse programs and concentrations. Nationwide professional contacts in both educational and employment sectors.
- Experience in fundraising or working with Development and Alumni Relations preferred.
- Effective communication skills in both speaking and writing, and strong interpersonal skills.
- Technical proficiency in career management systems, Microsoft Office and database systems.
- Demonstrated ability to work well with students, faculty, administrators, and employers; sensitivity to, and experience with, the needs of students from a broad range of backgrounds.

The expected pay range for this position is $145,902 to $177,678 per annum.
