To be successful in this position, you will bring:
- Bachelor’s degree and two years of relevant experience or combination of education, training, and relevant experience.

- Experience with crisis response and risk management.
- Ability to facilitate conflict resolution in a high stress environment.
- Ability to establish effective and cooperative working relationships with a diverse group of students, instructors, staff, parents, guardians, colleagues, and the public, showcasing empathy and flexibility in communication and collaboration.
- Ability to demonstrate tact and diplomacy when dealing with difficult issues
- Strong leadership skills with an ability to foster a cooperative work environment and to oversee and provide basic direction to staff.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to clearly and effectively communicate information to internal audiences, external audiences, and management.
- Basic computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office Suite. Relevant computer systems/technology experience.
- Ability to understand financial transactions, and to ensure and apply compliance with legal, financial, and university policies and external regulations.
- Commitment to anti-bias education, approaching work duties through an inclusion and belonging lens.
- A valid U.S. driver’s license; and eligibility to drive program rented vans.
In addition, preferred requirements include:
- Experience executing student life programming in the residential environment.
- Experience working in a higher education setting or with the pre-college student population is preferred.
- Advanced public speaking skills to present information to students, instructors, staff, parents, guardians, colleagues, and the public.
- Knowledge of project management tools and best practices.
- Experience working productively with individuals from a variety of backgrounds, and the ability to discern how marginalized populations may have differing needs.
Working Conditions:
- Routine extended working hours during peak cycles; travel to school/unit sites across university.
- On-call rotation during program dates, committing to planned and unplanned after-hours and weekend work while the programs are in session
The expected pay range for this position is $67,000 - $85,000 per annum. Stanford University provides pay ranges representing its good faith estimate of what the university reasonably expects to pay for a position. The pay offered to a selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget availability, internal equity, geographic location, and external market pay for comparable jobs.
