To be successful in this position, you will bring:
- Associate Degree or certificate of completion in an engineering discipline and three years of relevant experience; or a combination of education and relevant experience.
- An ability to be flexible and adaptive in an environment of unpredictable workflows, at times little supervision, and the responsibility to see projects through to completion in a timely manner.
- Experience applying scientific and engineering principles and practices to perform technical services and support.
- Experience with data analysis, experimental process, design, and development of prototypes, equipment, and/or systems related to social and behavioral science.
- Ability to write clear documentation, perform administrative duties, and research protocol maintenance related to research studies and/or scientific/engineering projects.
- Ability to interpret and determine validity of data and check own work.
- Ability to communicate, liaise, and work with staff, students, faculty, and outside vendors.
- Suggest and collaborate on process improvements of the lab.
- Ability to effectively supervise and train a diverse work staff.
In addition, preferred requirements include:
- Bachelor’s Degree or experience in a social science: social / cognitive psychology, organizational behavior, behavioral marketing, sociology, economics, or related field. Advanced degree a plus.
- Considerable experience with Qualtrics survey platform, with the ability to incorporate JavaScript and HTML additions to surveys.
- Experience with programming languages HTML, JavaScript, and related languages.
- Experience with software applications, systems, or programs relevant for the job, such as Qualtrics, o*tree / z*tree, JavaScript, HTML, python.
- Experience successfully working with social science faculty on technically complex research projects.
