MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Education & Experience:
PhD in economics as well as substantial training in applied mathematics and computer science. Must have experience in the following programming languages: Julia, Python, Matlab, LaTeX, C++, Fortran, Linux and Git.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Strong writing and literature research skills.
• Must be able to apply programming skills to numerical optimization, numerical integration, function approximation, structural estimation, and dynamic programming models. Must be able to use parallelization methods.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS*:
• Constantly perform desk-based computer tasks.
• Frequently sit, grasp lightly/fine manipulation.

• Rarely writing by hand, lift/carry/push/pull objects that weigh up to 10 pounds.

WORKING CONDITIONS:
The expected pay range for this position is $64,480 – $97,000 per annum. Stanford University provides pay ranges representing its good faith estimate of what the university reasonably expects to pay for a position. The pay offered to a selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget availability, internal equity, geographic location, and external market pay for comparable jobs.
