MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor of Arts degree in an applicable social science related field, or combination of education and relevant experience in an applicable social science.
General understanding of scientific theory and methods, typically gained through completion of an undergraduate degree in a related field.
General computer skills and ability to quickly learn and master computer programs.
Ability to work under deadlines with general guidance.
Excellent organizational skills and demonstrated ability to complete detailed work accurately and in a timely and efficient manner.
Effective oral and written communication skills.
Ability to work with human study participants.
Preferred qualifications include:
Two or more years of experience or education post-undergraduate degree in clinical or counseling psychology, developmental psychology, human development and family studies, educational psychology, or a related field.
Experience in community implementation of mental health or wellness interventions.
Strong quantitative data management and analysis skills; mixed methods preferred. Experience or training in one or more programming languages and/or statistical software: R, SPSS, Mplus, or SAS.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; grant writing and publishing experience preferred.
WORKING CONDITIONS
May be required to work non-standard, extended or weekend hours in support of research work.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Frequently perform desk-based computer tasks, grasp lightly/fine manipulation, lift/carry/push/pull objects that weigh up to 10 pounds.
Occasionally stand/walk, sit, use a telephone, write by hand, and sort/file paperwork or parts.
Rarely twist/bend/stoop/squat, kneel/crawl, reach/work above shoulders, operate foot and/or hand controls.
The expected pay range for this position is $34.00–$40.41 per hour.
