To be successful in this position, you will bring:
- Two-year college degree and one year of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of experience, education, and training.
- The ability to work independently in an unstructured environment with unpredictable workflows and remain flexible to changing policies and procedures. Supervision is relatively hands-off after an initial training period of a few months but maintains consistent communication with the Lab Director.
- An ability to balance multiple, competing projects working with multiple faculty and doctoral students.
- Independent self-starter who can take initiative, see projects through to completion, and understand the unique priorities and demands of lab-based experimentation.
- General understanding of scientific theory and methods.
- General computer skills and ability to quickly learn and master computer programs.
- At minimum an intermediate skill with Excel / Google Sheets.
- Excellent organizational skills and demonstrated ability to complete detailed work accurately.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work with human study participants.
In addition, preferred requirements include:
- Bachelor's degree in psychology, social psychology, organizational behavior, marketing research or a related field.
- Experience with Qualtrics.
- Intermediate to advanced ability with Excel / Google Sheets.
- Basic skills with HTML and java.
