- Routinely perform server installation, troubleshooting and repairs at data center

- Ability to meet in-person with researchers and colleagues at Stanford research sites or on the Stanford campus
Minimum Requirements:
Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree and ten years of relevant experience, or a combination of education and relevant experience.
Preferred Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Familiarity with current security trends, requirements and commonly adopted frameworks (i.e. HIPAA, NIST, CMMC).
- 5 years of experience as a Linux system administrator.
- Ability to self-motivate and learn new skills/technologies quickly.
Working Conditions
Hybrid position, working on-site at Stanford campus for at least 3 days a week through the first 9 months of employment; typically at least 2 days a week thereafter.
- Travel on campus to schools/units, occasional out of town travel.
- Occasionally exposed to high voltage electricity, noise >80dB TWA, confined spaces, hot temperatures in data center environments.
- Core work hours of 9 am - 5 pm Pacific.
- Extended hours and weekend work required occasionally, and rotation of on- and off-site responsibilities during winter closure.
The expected pay range for this position is $ $184,630 to $190,000 per annum.
