Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree and three years of related experience or a combination of relevant education and relevant experience.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities.
- Ability to function and communicate effectively and respectfully within the context of varying beliefs, behaviors, orientations, identities, and cultural backgrounds.
- Knowledge of, or ability to learn, Fusion, WhentoWork, Connect2Concepts, and MS Office.
- Ability to learn policies and procedures and correctly provide information to members.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and customer service focus.
- Ability to routinely and independently exercise sound judgment in making decisions.
- Demonstrated experience working independently and as part of a team.
- Relevant subject matter knowledge.
- Ability to direct the work of others.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Certifications and Licenses
- Nationally recognized group fitness and/or personal training certification required.
- Current American Red Cross CPR, AED, and First Aid certification, or the ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to exert physical effort, including the ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs., bending, squatting, reaching, or being on feet for long periods of time.
- Frequently stand/walk, sit, perform desk-based computer tasks, use a telephone, and grasp lightly/fine manipulation.
WORKING CONDITIONS
- Routine work during normal business hours. May need to work some evenings and weekends to provide coverage.
- May be exposed to noise > 80dB TWA.
