MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Education & Experience:
- PhD or PsyD
in clinical or counseling psychology field and one year post-degree
experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Expertise working with gender and sexual diversity,
including LGBTQIA-identified students and alternative sexual identities
such as polyamory and kink.
- Five years of post-degree experience.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Demonstrated clinical competence with gender and sexual
diversity and intersectional identities in student populations.
- Proven ability to interact with diverse constituencies
and communities: students of color, low-income/first-generation college
students, students of faith, activists, etc.
- Expertise in clinical skills in evaluation, crisis
intervention, and case management.
- Demonstrated strong communication skills (verbal and
written).
- Expertise in program development, design, and
implementation.
- Experience in collaborative work with multidisciplinary
teams and other professional colleagues.
- Demonstrated skills in consultative work with
professional colleagues and other staff.
Certifications and Licenses:
- Licensed Psychologist in California.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS*:
- Frequently sit, perform desk-based
computer tasks.
- Occasionally stand, walk, twist,
use fine manipulation, grasp, use a telephone, write by hand, sort and file
paperwork, lift, carry, push, and rarely pull objects that weigh up to 10
pounds.
