What you need to be successful:
- Proficiency in project management tools including project charters, project plans, roadmaps, risk registers, issue logs, decision-making models, change logs, and reports.
- Strong quantitative skills and the ability to correlate data to produce actionable insights.
- Demonstrated ability to organize work and manage multiple projects.
- Ability to productively assemble, engage and lead cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrated project management ability to employ integration, scope time management, cost, quality, human resources, communications, risk, and procurement components.
- Demonstrated resilience, diplomacy, influence, relationship building, and problem-solving skills in a variety of situations.
- Motivated self-starter with the ability to work independently and with team members
- Strong consultative, presentation, and written communication skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to accuracy
Desired qualifications and certifications:
- 5+ years of experience managing complex projects within a higher education environment
- Experience using Smartsheet, Google forms/slides/documents, Slack, Miro, Adobe creative suite, and similar applications and platforms.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certified completion of a Project Management Institute program or certification in process desired.
- Scrum Business Owner certified completion of a Scrum Alliance program or certification in process desired.
