We are looking for someone who is customer service oriented, enthusiastic and energetic, and a creative problem solver. This job requires working with all levels of our constituents, so it is important that you can demonstrate professional decorum as well as an ability to communicate and build relationships across broad audiences. A good sense of humor is appreciated (where appropriate) and a strong, dedicated work ethic is a must. Some additional requirements include:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or a combination of education and experience, and two years of directly related experience performing responsibilities similar to those listed above or combination of education and relevant experience.
- Polished written and oral communication skills to address a wide variety of audiences.
- Ability to productively contribute to cross-functional teams.
- Depth of knowledge in technical discipline/domain needed to deliver projects.
- Demonstrated project management ability to employ integration, scope time management, cost, quality, human resources, communications, risk, and procurement components.
In addition, preferred requirements include
- Knowledge and familiarity with human-centered design, the learning sciences, innovation, entrepreneurship, and social entrepreneurship.
- Knowledge of AI, AR & VR, robotics, IOT, gamification, learning analytics, wearables, haptics, and other emerging technologies in their application to teaching and learning.
- Experience working with teams in development of advanced learning tools and environments, blending asynchronous and synchronous components.
- Experience leading sessions and organizing student work in a classroom.
- Demonstrated capacity to learn new technologies quickly.
- Experience working with multimedia tools (e.g., audio and video production, editing, etc.).
This role is open to candidates anywhere in the United States. Stanford University has five Regional Pay Structures.
The expected pay range for this position is $79,000 - $100,000 per annum. "The actual pay will be pro-rated based on the 75% FTE." Stanford University provides pay ranges representing its good faith estimate of what the university reasonably expects to pay for a position. The pay offered to a selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget availability, internal equity, geographic location and external market pay for comparable jobs.
