MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
One year of Relevant work experience or a combination of equivalent education and relevant experience.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Project Crew II has all of the qualifications described in the Project Crew I specification plus the following qualifications:
·Must be skilled in tasks they direct and be able to answer questions effectively and solve task-related problems.
·Must have the ability to effect good working relationships with other employees.
·Must be able to follow verbal and/or written instructions and communicate those to others.
·Ability to demonstrate and maintain a client service attitude and approach to students and other customers
·Ability to operate power and hand tools in a safe manner in accordance with manufacturer’s recommendations
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Valid California Non-commercial Class C Driver's license.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to obtain and maintain a California Non-commercial Class C Driver’s License.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Required to wear appropriate uniform
- Required to wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- May be required to work overtime, evenings, and weekends, including Holidays, sometimes in inclement weather conditions
- May be required to work in confined spaces and at heights over 10 feet
- Ability to perform heavy manual labor in all types of outside weather conditions
- Constantly stand, walk
- Frequently grasp forcefully, lift up to 20 pounds
- Occasionally kneel, crawl, twist, bend, stoop, squat, climb (ladders and scaffolds), reach above shoulders, use light/fine grasping, lift 21-40 pounds
- Rarely perform seated work, desk-based tasks, use a telephone, write by hand sort/file paperwork, scrub, sweep, chop, mix, lift over 40 pounds
- Visual acuity including color vision
WORKING CONDITIONS:
When conducting university business, must comply with the California Vehicle Code and Stanford University driving requirements.
