We are seeking someone who is flexible, persistent, highly collaborative, a fast learner, and willing to work on a team. The Project Coordinator is adept at managing timelines, creating organizational systems, taking initiative, proactively problem solving, anticipating needs, navigating a wide variety of software systems and effectively managing relationships across the university ecosystem and beyond. As a project coordinator, the ideal candidate will be able to identify and think through necessary steps of a project, set deadlines, and hold self and others accountable to shared plans.
Education & Experience:
- High school diploma and four years of administrative experience, or combination of education and relevant experience.
- At least three years of administrative or project management experience
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Advanced computer skills and demonstrated experience with office software and email applications.
- Demonstrated success in following through and completing projects.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and assign work to others.
- Ability to take initiative and ownership of projects.
- Ability to routinely and independently exercise sound judgment in making decisions.
