DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred 
  • Experience in academic environment or faculty affairs preferred.
  • Proficiency in Stanford University online software systems, including Qualtrics, preferred. 
  • Ability to think creatively, take initiative and ownership of projects, and work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to be flexible and respond effectively to frequent interruptions and changing priorities. 
  • Proven track record of working with a sense of urgency, optimism, and a can-do attitude.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE (REQUIRED):
  • High school diploma and three years of administrative experience, or combination of education and relevant experience.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (REQUIRED):
  • Proficient computer skills and demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and email applications.
  • Demonstrated success with independently following through and completing routine tasks.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven track record of strong customer service and interpersonal skills and positive collegial interactions.
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task. 
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS*:
  • Constantly perform desk-based computer tasks.
  • Frequently sitting.
  • Occasionally stand/walk, reach/work above shoulders, grasp lightly/fine manipulation, grasp forcefully, use a telephone, sort/file paperwork or parts, lift/carry/push/pull objects that weigh up to 10 pounds.
  • Rarely twist/bend/stoop/squat, kneel/crawl.
