Product Designer

Bachelor's degree and three years of relevant experience in UX/UI product design or a combination of education and relevant experience.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (REQUIRED):

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong proficiency with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, and Adobe Creative Suite
• Familiarity with accessibility standards such as WCAG and ADA
• In-depth knowledge of both qualitative & quantitative user research mythologies, user testing and usability testing
• Expert level knowledge of front-end development languages and ability to hand code HTML, CSS and JavaScript

• Ability to design and manage relational databases
• Ability to design and integrate complex web enterprise systems
• Familiarity with browser devices and platform differences and idiosyncrasies, and ability to develop workarounds to accommodate specialized user/constituency needs and device platforms

• Knowledge for interpreting user research data and site analytics to make data-informed design decisions
• Up-to-date knowledge of design software like Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Sketch, or InDesign
• Experience of working in an agile iterative environment

• Expert knowledge of content management systems, such as Drupal, including the ability to perform standard installation and configuration.
