To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- A bachelor's degree in Public Health, Science, Business, or other related field and three years of progressively responsible, relevant process improvement experience or combination of education and relevant experience.
- Thorough understanding of:
- college student development
- whole-person health (flourishing)
- public health approaches and systems
- social determinants of health
- anti-oppression frameworks
- university administration and politics
- Change management & process improvement through a strategic, critical and comprehensive approach; recognizing the ways that systems engage with each other
- The ability to collaborate, build relationships, and imbue confidence with colleagues
- Excellent influence management skills – the ability to lead and inspire the work of others (through committee work, shared projects and partnerships, etc.) without direct supervision responsibilities
- The ability to design data projects and collect, manage & understand data is essential
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, including presentation skills and storytelling – the confluence of data, collaborations and curiosity, that is helpful for creating buy-in for change ideas – especially when there is little positional authority
- A strong enterprise-wide vision, seeing the big picture, recognizing critical details and dealing with ambiguity.
