MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Education & Experience:
Two-year college degree or equivalent, and three years of related experience in corporate transactions/finance or possess at least one of the following three requirements:

Completion of a paralegal certificate program approved by the American Bar Association.

Completion of 24 semester units of paralegal education at a state-approved or accredited institution.
-
Completion of a bachelor’s degree in any field combined with one year of law-related experience under the supervision of a lawyer.
Must also complete all required continuing legal education every two years in order to lawfully perform services or identify self as a paralegal in the state of California.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Familiarity with investment process and investment office middle- and back-office processes and procedures a plus.

Proven project management skills.
-
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
-
Multitask effectively; self-directed.
-
Ability to handle shifting priorities with flexibility and patience.

Proficient in common office computer applications.
-
Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills.

Exercise good judgment.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Constantly perform desk-based computer tasks.

Frequently sitting.

Occasionally stand/walk, use a telephone, writing by hand.

Rarely kneel/crawl, twist/bend/stoop/squat, sort/file paperwork or parts.
