MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Education and Experience: Advanced degree (doctorate preferred) in Education Policy or a related field, and familiarity with current research; Familiarity with California’s education policy system and current policy debates; Experience in working with researchers, policy-makers, and leaders at all levels of California’s education system
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Interpersonal skills to work successfully with complex networks of researchers, educational practitioners, and funders
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS*:
- Frequently stand/walk, sitting, grasp lightly/fine manipulation, perform desk-based computer tasks.
- Occasionally use a telephone, writing by hand, lift/carry/push/pull objects that weigh up to 40 pounds.
- Rarely sort/file paperwork or parts, lift/carry/push/pull objects that weigh >40 pounds.
- Ability to use voice to present information/communicate with others.
- On-campus mobility.

WORKING CONDITIONS:
- May work extended hours, evenings or weekends.

This position is fixed-term through March 15, 2019 and is renewable based on performance and funding.
